Prices
Where possible we try to find a second hand or antique picture frame for clients’ works of art — old frames always look better than reproductions and often work out cheaper.
Prices for second-hand and antique frames range from £300 to over £3000 and depend on the rarity of the frame and its quality. A price is fixed also for any work that needs to be done to the frame.
While cheaper reproduction frames may be only £120, large fully carved frames, gilded and requiring many hours of work can cost several thousand pounds. Estimates are always negotiated before the work is carried out and — stuck to.
